The Cherry Blossom Cycle Path is a beautiful, approximately 40 km long route that is a real highlight for cyclists, especially in spring. This route takes you through the blossoming orchards around Lake Neusiedl, especially along the villages around Mörbisch, Breitenbrunn and Podersdorf, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. The cycle path is ideal for families, but also for cyclists looking for a relaxed yet beautiful route.

The route is a real treat, especially in spring, when the cherry trees are in bloom and the landscape is a soft white and pink. This is an absolute highlight if you want to combine nature and cycling.
Orchards and viticulture:
You cycle through orchards, which are also known for their excellent cherries, and can sample local produce along the way. The region around Mörbisch in particular is known for its cherry harvest and cherry wine.

After an extensive bike tour around Lake Neusiedl, you can also take a boat on the Drescher Line for a relaxed return trip to Rust. This is not only a comfortable way to cover the distance, but also offers you a unique perspective of Lake Neusiedl and the surrounding landscapes.
The Drescher Line offers regular boat trips between various locations around Lake Neusiedl, including a connection from Mörbisch or Podersdorf to Rust. The trips usually take around 30 to 45 minutes and offer a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding villages from the deck of the boat.
Advantages of the boat trip:
Pure relaxation: After a strenuous bike tour, it is a welcome respite to simply sit back on the boat and enjoy the view.

The Drescher Linie has a regular service between Rust and other towns on Lake Neusiedl, and the timetables can be found on their website. You can book tickets on the boat or online. During the high season, there are also departures several times a day, so you can stay flexible.
